Congrats but I would have never traded my S13 for a BMW. My friends own a repair shop in rich people land and BMW's keep their place in business. I always wanted a BMW till I started hanging out there and noticed that more than half the cars are BMW's. Dont get me wrong, they are very nice overall and look amazing but the reliability is bad.

As long as you do your own work, it's not so bad. While I agree that the newer BMW's have took a shit in terms of reliability, that is not so much the case with the older BMW's. The ETA models from the early E30 3er's can go well over 300,000 miles with no problems whatsoever, and the 2002's are known to be very stout cars.

Personally if I had a 328, I would do exhaust, chip, headers, suspension, and wheels.

Now if it was an E36, I would go FI on that badboy.

I do have a U12 Stanza, but it's been sitting in my driveway for a year. Needs a new clutch, work on crossmember and perhaps new injectors, but everytime someone offers to help me with the clutch installation, they just flake on me, so I left it sitting there until I figure out what to do with it.

I currently drive an S14 so all is good :D
