I just want to see if it's my city that's smoking crack or what. But do anyone have this problem? Sometimes you walk near a street light, and it just goes off? as if it had a motion sensor to turn it off... nonsense!

Are you guys black? Maybe there is a camera attached to the light and your city is hoping beyond hope that somene is waiting for it tobe dark enough to jump out and fuck you up

the light at my parents house would randomly turn off sometimes when i went outside at night, then slowly turn back on. pretty annoying when you're using it to work on your car at night.
sometimes i see light turn off when i'm driving towards them, like my headlights make them think it's daytime.

I can't believe some of you guys haven't seen these.
We have a name for htem here, "Rape Lights", for obvious reasons. I live in town with 2 state colleges within 8 miles of eachother... students have been trying to get them replaced for years... as a safety issue, I don't see why we should have ANY of these things around.

It happens when the photosensors(turn it on/off w/sunlight) go bad. The sensors are expensive and the Public Works is too cheap to replace them.

but how do u explain it when it happens when u walk near one? Besides, i thought there was a main switch for all the lights?
