what the hell is going on with my car. I started to overheat, so i pulled over, and I had a major coolant leak near the intake manifold somewhere. once it stopped hissing and pissing out fluid, i refilled the radiator, and drove it around. Now its fine, it doesnt overheat, and theres no more coolant leak. How the hell is that possible?

Probably you hoses expand due to heat/hard driving... Also your pipe flows more coolant and at higher pressures when the engine is driven hard. Check your fittings for cracks, tighten your clamps, maybe needs replacement.

Well now there has to be air in the system but also check your hoses for cracks near the fittings and clamps. If its an OEM KA. Those hoses are pretty beat up now,... Just a suggestion :)

I think i found the hose thats the problem. Under the intake manifold, theres a bunch of hoses that run up and down in between the intake runners. The one closest to the front of the car appears to have worked its way off the clamp. Getting a new one on there is gonna be impossible.
