They are used cars.. They have every year and model of s-chassis you could want.

The physics engine is better in this game I have my s14 k's setup like my s14 in real life and it drifts fine. just takes some practice. I like to use the nos like a clutch kick :2f2f: The game really is amazing I had some pics but I dont have a usb storage device so I cant post any yet. The driving force pro steering wheel and the console I bought makes the game 100 times more fun. Very hard though but super realistic!

i just got the game, it puts me to sleep every time i play it.

gt4 doesnt allow you to use the right analog stick anymore. i used it for shifting up&down on gt3.

to everyone complaining about them messing up the car names, thaey only *kinda* did.
1993 Silvia = S14 is OK!
S14 Silvia was produced/sold in Japan starting in middle of '93 and japan doesn't have 'model years' per se. If they call a car a '96 Silvia, it means it was built in 1996, not that it's zenki or kouki (both of which were sold in '96)
'96 240sx = fastback S13 is OK! They're simply identifying the kouki 180sx which started production in middle of '96.
The reason they changed Silvia and 180sx to 240sx is simply for the American market to be more comfortable with the car's names. I have a feeling that PD hasn't realized that US model years aren't the same as Japanese, and I don't really blame them - they were more concerned with producing an awesome, realistic game (that I can't play because my PS2 is b0rked).

The wings are so tall they are ridiculous. That's the only height you can get, and the only width you can get, though they do have different styles of wing. I looked at the wings, and they are so big on an FD it looks like a frickin top fuel dragster. It's cool that you can get wheels from other car manufacturers now. My yellow FD is sporting some kick-ass gunmetal BMW rims right now.

if you wanna see a REAL BUG, you can drive the HONDA ELEMENT 150MPH in reverse and it handles pretty well too, AND i hit 150 MPH IN 2ND GEAR, out of 4 gears!

-jsut about everything else as far as mods MINUS the 4th and or 5th turbo upgrade..

anyone have any inside on what i can do to the car as far as right now with what i have done to it, because unlike gt3 whenever i break loose the car just backlashes and spins out rediculously..

i dont know if its the same thing as me but i can get my s15 in a short drift but its the recovery that i have trouble with because the car comes back straight and then keeps going the other way and then spins out of control! anyone else have this problem?

the Gnx looks even better now that i updated the rims on it..i found a set of black center professors in the todays special section..they look much better on the car..i'm gonna get a bunch of new pics tonight when i play, i hit the wheels last night like 10 times going each day and found some bad ass wheels choices...I found some Watanabes, some Longchamps, the Professors, some black lm gt4's and silver ones. there's not rewind or slow motion that i know of. i just got kinda lucky and stopped it at the right time and then took pictures from all different angles.

i've been playing around with the cool z's i've gotten mostly, the LM prototype, the pitwork and the option. But my new favorite toy is my cobra, sooo sick, i love its acceleration on stock suspension, feels like you're really in a muscle car.

I think it's a graphics issue. By making the color fixed, they can make the reflections and details much more realistic. Repainting would mean that they'd either have to render every single possible combination, or that the detail would decrease. However, there is no reason to not be able to chance between stock colors, which I think should have been allowed.

As for the Caterham, it's again a graphical issue. The open cockpit, exposed cage, and open suspension make it so complex to render that the PS2 isn't capable of rendering it, the track, and five other cars.

When you equip wheels on racing tires, they are larger diameter. Like with the Blue S15, I had put the same wheel on the street tire, and on the race tire, and the rim was larger on the race tire, it was obvious with the NT03+M wheel. Like the street tire is stock rim sized, and for a race tire it is plus sized. Try it out, you will see.
