View Full Version : Gauge mounting?

Ok, I did a search for the best ways to mount some gauges in an S13, but none of them really seem to work for me.

There's the DIN slot one, but I need that open for my mp3 player to sit in (it HAS to be right near the radio).
There's the center vent pod/plate thingy, but I like my A/C, and want those open.
There's the A-pillar pod, but for some reason I'd feel really dumb having my gauges there (i have a pretty stock KA, and am installing oil pressure and temp gauges).
And as far as the glove box, thats way too hard to look at...especially if I have passengers.

Any other mounting ideas?
I know Greddy and HKS make gauge holders, I'm thinking of buying 2 of the HKS's and sticking them inside the dash gauge cluster (I have a HUD, so I can still see my speed with the gauges in there).

Thanks!

you could get individual gauge cups and mount em on the dash right above the center vents, or on the side of the gauge cluster cowl. or get something like halo has.

Drill the dash. It's P-I-M-P.
