I had to get 2 new tires on my S13 a few weeks ago, and not paying attention (yea, flame away) I got 2 Falken Ziex 512's in 195/60/15 (SE alloys).
But I was thinking about it, and would it make any sense to get 205's on my front wheels, then switch all 4 so I have 195's up front and 205 in the rear?
Maybe a little less understeer?
Though it means i cant rotate my tires....and with tires this small to start with, it might not even be noticeable....
Thoughts?

is it ok to run 205's on a 6 inch rim?

if you put 195 in front it will understeer more. put the wider/grippier in front. i was running 205 azenis and 195 es100 like that it worked for moderate oversteer on stock power

2 of my SE's have 225/40/16 S02's... i didnt find out till recently that they dont fit but they seem to be okay. they look the same as the 205's on the other two due to the height of the sidewall... so no it really doesn't matter. as far as looks are concerned.

AHH sport package Se's came with 205 from the factory. SO I would say, yes. 225 on a 6 inch looks like ass, the buldge is so horrendous... Im no way advocating the notion of streched tires, I personally plan to run 255's on a 9.5 when i get them.

I'm running 205 all around. I like it better then the 195, seems to ride better.
I had 195 up front and 205 out back cause I burnt thru the rears first and didn't want to replace the fronts when they had some life left. They died fast after I put the 205's in the rear.
