IMO, rice is when someone cares more about the looks of their car and not performance. A 240 with an intake, catback exhaust and rims, isn't rice IMO. But a 240 with rims, a muffler, a FANG bodykit, and a $3000 paint job is rice.

it doesn't matter how fast your car is on the street if it isn't a real life RACE CAR stickers and flashy stuff do not belong on it. race cars do not count because they are rolling billboards. if your street car is sponsored by some companies, fine whatever, its still rice if you put APC crap on there.

I actually see m-sport has the exactly same tail light in their catalog (180sx and S15).....for $500!!! I think it doesnt looks that bad on 180 but just unfortunately the public already created a negative opinion about it. That's your opinion. To me, just the oposite would be true. FRP wide fenders are semi-ricey to me, and 18x11 Work wheels are far from Rice. Granted I wouldn't run 18's on a track, but I still don't consider them rice.

let me explain. vented fenders actually help. get rid of air under wheelwells causing turbulance,(you can tell at highway speeds) as well as fitting a lower offset wheel without looking Vato. .

I seriously cannot see someone using an 18x11 wheel with 325+ width tires. Not even on a rack track. Race cars actually use smaller wheels. It's like trying to race with Dubs.

if it will help with performance, (body kits are pushing it) then it's worth buying and using. If it doesn't it's rice. simple.
