Yesterday while I was working on my car I noticed that my timing needle was bent slightly. I was wondering if the needle is replaceable and is it screwed or pressed in?

OHHH DAMN.. i had the same problem . while back i was cleaning uder my car its was lifted, the car was on ideling, so i was cleaning with a towel and suddenly it got sucked by the AC belt.
few weeks or a months later i found my needle bent. then i remember the towel incident. and knew that when the AC belt sucked my towel it broke and hit the timing nail and bent it like 45 degree off...
but recently with a slightly heavy (big) hammer and a socket extension ..had the socket extension on the needle and hit it with hammer very gently untill it was back to almost where it should be ... I think.. i compared with some other 240 owner and it was almost same..
so i sugest you jack up the car
a hammer and an extension that you can place it on the nail from under the car and hit it gently..
i was pretty happy cuz the nail was very easy to bent back..
be carefull though... thankfully my timing is on 15 instead of like 21.. my kat would have blown by now ifthe timing was not put back at 15..
be safe...
