3 travelers decide to share a hotel room for the night. The clerk quotes them 30 dollars for the room so each of them pays 10 dollars. After they have gone to their room, the clerk realizes that the room was only 25 dollars. So she gives the extra 5 dollars back to the bell boy and tells him to take it to the room. On the way there, he decides to tip himself 2 dollars. So when he gets to the room, he gives each of the travelers one dollar back, so they've each spent 9 dollars now. 3x9=27. The bell boy kept 2 dollars so that makes 29. Where did the other dollar go?

room was 25, plus they each got a dollar back = 3, plus 2 dollar tip = 30...

the moneys there, that 3x9 equation just fucks it all up haha.

30-5=25
25/3=8.333
2 (the tip)/3 = .66

8.33+.66+1(the dollar they got back) =10 bucks each

that 3x9 equation shouldnt be in there at all, its midleading.

im a nerd

what extra dollar?

the 3x9 should be there, but it's -2 not +2.

30 - 3 that they got back - 2 the bellboy took = 25, the actual price of the room.

Fart Facts: why do you fart?

The small intestine can't absorb everything, especially complex carbohydrates. Some complex carbs - the ones made up of several sugar molecules(beans, some milk products, fiber, etc.) can't be broken down. So they're simply passed along to the colon, where bacteria living in your intestine feed off the fermenting brew. If that sounds gross, try this: the bacteria then excrete gases into your colon. Farting id how the colon rids itself of the pressure the gas creates.

i'm gonna go get some nachos
