what the hell you ugys are gonna spend 590 +50 to ship thats like 640 .... save up A little more and get alot more is what i'd say. Some people say nex are good but you'll never see them being compared to anything else. Atleast get Megan racing that come with camber plates and solid upper mounts. hell I bet you Mookees are better than these atleast mookees have inverted front struts and you can buy the center cartriges. I've gone through 4 sets of suspension stock, tanabe front coilover with bridgestone potenza street spec r shocks and springs in the rear, used apexi jdm coilovers and ohlins in the rear from and s14.... all trying to get the good deal......but in the end i sucked it up for 2-3 months and got the tein he's brand new and let me tell you i'll never deal with used suspension ever again or cheap suspension ever again unless i know the person

Honestly I'd rather spend the saved 3 or 400 dollars on my turbo setup. This is not a track car, or an auto-x car or drift car. All I want is a nice drop and decent handling. I don't need the adjustability of the HE's. Don't act like better coilovers are anywhere near a necessity when you have no idea what our cars are being used for. If I can save a few hundred and just get something that's only good for daily driving(which is all they'll be used for), then I will because I'll have my turbo setup that much sooner.
until the shock body snaps in half and you're shit outta luck cuz "nex" racing already went under by the time you received the box to your coilovers

Uh nex racing is pretty well known for their race seats, they are not a fly by night little company. And stop talking out your ass about how they're going to snap in half. Has this happened to you? Or even anyone you know who has them? Do you own a set? Didn't think so, so you opinion doesn't mean jack shit. Jordan Gladman has a set and he likes them a whole lot, he's been running them for a couple months now with zero problems. I am by no means saying these are top quality coilovers, but for the price, which is roughly the same as an agx/spring combo, they're a hell of a better deal.

Jordan Gladman has a personal preference like every one else. those guys are saying save up a few bills more get like D2s or the apollo coilovers from www.pandagarage.com they are just stating that for only a few bills more you get alot more R&D and reliability. Reason why many guys buy Tein HEs as there first set, entry level coilover, good price. To be used as a stepping stone as you progress as a driver and you move onto better coilovers. NEX is definately not one to be put in that category. Just search on this site and you will find reviews and opinions from KTS,D2s,Tein,JIC,HKS, etc.....
suck a dick superman, nex racing is known to me as SHIT parts...if they were good then how come there are no nex sponsored D1 cars? further more, how come i havent heard of any nex sponsored Formula D cars...i have never even heard of a car running nex products PERIOD. My opinion DOES mean shit, cuz even though i dont know about NEX coilovers through experience, i DO know what is good...
Tein, KTS, JIC, HKS, Apexi, Kei-Office, Silkroad...NOT NEX

Hey man, you don't have to be a complete asshole. You stated your opinion which is totally useless because you've never run the product. I don't see people running around reviewing stuff that they've never even tried so honestly just shut the fuck up. Go post all you want about stuff you actually run and just pass by these threads if you're gonna get all heated when someone calls you out. I was not trying to be a dick, I was simply stating that you have no clue about the quality of these coilovers. As for the reason there are no sponsored cars, I think that's pretty rediculous reason to not buy a product. So what if the company doesnt make super JDM tyte DrIfT parts. Do you buy stuff simply because all the super duper cool drifters run those parts? If you do, then you are truly a bandwagon riding jackass.
This thread was not about what is good or bad, it was about the nex coilovers. You have no experience with them so don't go bashing a product that may very well be an excellent buy for this guy and other members. Again, FOR THE PRICE, the nex coilovers are a good deal. That has been my point throughout all these posts.

eh.... all my buddys with honda/acura's had them.... and they are trash... anyways...... they all have zeals now.....those are some kick ass coilovers..... worth every penny.... haha they drag race to.. soo... i guess its worth it to have a nice suspension it improved there time alot once they got the right combo down....
IMO..... i think those nex are trash...... unless you want some hight adjustable crusing coilovers...... or street racing coilovers:2f2f:...... superman0234 are you a street racer:2f2f:? if so.. these are perfect you........so have at it...
as for aznsupastar.... you asked a very vague question... what is your driving style?drift, autox, daily crusing, drag, or street racing like superman0234 :2f2f: :keke:
who knows... you will probably be happy with struts/spring combo....

The NEX coilovers are not widely used in the 240sx community. Reason being is they are an unknown Co. But at the same time a year ago (guessing) everyone on this board would have told you that MR coilovers where shitty/unknown. So it's going to take some guinea pigs to find out if they are worth anything.
superman0234: as for you just wanting a quick/good handling car the nex coilsovers spring rate is a bit stiff for a daily cursor. You might want to spend the extra cash on something not so stiff. Just something you might want to think about.
NEX:the spring rates are 550 front and 450 rear

Im a house hold name now or what :D?
Im happy with the NEX coil-overs, i can argue with people about them all day long but they do they job. 10/8kg springs, height adjustable like 8"... Im glad to have saved money for other things and i dont think a set of coil-overs worth $500 more would work any better. If you put the $500 towards tires or dropping some weight, youd probably increase your ability to do lap times by more.
You wont be disappointed if you buy nex CO's.. thats about all i have to say about that.

wowowow...guys quit fighting over a thread man. threads liek this is to help everyone with a wider variety of options for their cars. . theres a difference tho like superman said...thinking a product is shit, or knowing a product is shit...if you dont have anything usefull to say, then on you go to the next thread. stop acting like delinquents and making yourself seem like a complete ass.
BUT HEY!...bring on the reviews...i want to learn more about NEX and if they are any good for daily driving or gripping. tired of looking at thousand dollar coilovers. seen NEX around for a while but its such an unknown brand and barely anyone post reviews of them.
