2 FOUR O

I made one of these today and found 4 huge leaks. When I corrected all the leaks, pumped up the system with my bike pump, lol, the engine was under pressure. No leaks because I didnt hear a single thing. When I pulled off any hoses, all the air came out at a decent pressure, but problem is, my boost gauge pressure remained at zero. Why is this? Their is obviously pressure in the system because it all blows out. Any help would be awesome, thanks.

does your boost gauge work normally? is it an electronic (like defi or so) and the car needs to be turned on for it to work?

It seems obvious, but there's not a chance the gauge itself came disconnected, is there? Maybe it's connected where it reads the boost but came disconnected at the gauge or at the sending unit?
