ok...i searched for my problem and found my answer now im confused.

i have a problem w/ my knock sensor and i read on here that u can get a 1 Megaohm resistor to fix it. what kinda resistor is that.... can i get it from radioshack?

In case you don't know what a knock sensor does. It is a microphone(piezoelectric sensor) that listens for the knock/pinging. Without it..well your car will probably knock climbing hills or maybe hard acceleration..I'm not flamming just a heads up..and radioshack should carry it as well.. mega=1000.

ok, ive decided not to keep the resistor on....but is this a good way to test the knock sensor?
