R33 seats...

Right now I'm pondering on getting some R33 GT-R seats. I remember way back that someone told me they are exactly like the NISMO seats (just different color). If this is true, then the NISMO sliders should make the R33 GT-R seats fit into my S14 just perfect (besides 3 out of 4 bolts)....right?

Does anyone on this forum have these seats in their car or have sat in them and "tried" them out?

BTW...I'm looking at R33 GT-R seats because of price, availability and a decent upgrade from S14 seats.

r33 is nice
sliders i think its like stock
nismo is bottom mount i think
modification is same as any R chassis seat in the car. nothing difficult.
check on Freshalloy, white bunny from AZ has nismo ones

because anyting but GTR is the suck.

Yes I'm talking about R33 GT-R seats (BCNR33). Maeda I'm a little confused by your post....your saying the GT-R seats are not the same as the NISMO? I went with the assumption about the silders/rails working because the NISMO parts catalog has a different set for the R33 and S14.

The nismo rails for the s14 should fit the r32/r33 gtr seats fine. I saw the giant nismo catalog last week and it had pictures of the nismo seat. It's just a recovered gtr seat with nismo on the headrest.

As far as i know, any GTR seats will work on any S-chassis. Only catch is 1 of the 4 holes wont mount line up. You'll have to weld an extention and drill a hole in that extension to mount the last hole in.

I got a friend who got R32 GTR seats in his hatch and another friend who got a 33 in his coupe.
