YEs I have canged my cars dash light color. There r alot of Auto stores that sell variuos colored bulbs, usualy green, red or blue. Super EZ just swap the appropriate bulbs and yur done. The dash light bulbs have blue plastic covers on them. Red works the bes, it disapates less than other colors. Or you can go the old school rout and go by some paint markers and just paint away in wahtever color u want.

write up? well, if you know/figure out how to remove your guage cluster (which is really easy) you can do it. Just get the cluster out, take the bulbs out on the back. Replace them with new bulbs, whatever color you like, and there you go. I'm gonna have to figure out something for the smaller bulbs. Either get some type of red rubber boot like the once sold on the ricer isle, pull them totally, or paint them with that clear red stuff people use on there brake lights.... oh, they were $2.99 for 2 and you need 3. It's a totally pointless mod but it's kinda neat I guess. By day one color, by night another...whatever

Just to let you know the color fades! after 3 months it looks like crap. So I bought little red rubbers for them and even those burned through after a while. Oh well :duh:

I think I've seen this site before. Don't LED's have too narrow of coverage? I know thats what mike said when asked about what he did....35 degrees is very wide at all.

My LED kit from them had a diode burn out within a month.....no thanks. The only reason I didnt complain was that I didnt want to completely remove and re-disassemble my cluster again just to un-superglue the bad LED and mail the setup back to them. Too much hassle. My advice is to buy some LED's in bulk off ebay, do some research on Google regarding proper resistors to knock the 12V down to like 2.5 or whatever the specific LED recommends....then wire up your own setup. The hardest part after you understand how to get the voltage down is to get it soldered up. Just mock up a "tester" circuit and get that right...then replicate it in your cluster/gauges/tail lights/center garnish/etc.

I pulled my gauge cluster out and replaced the stock guage cluster lights with Polarg 194's. They are much brighter than stock and you really notice the difference in illumination.
