Has anyone here shipped a 240 dash? How much did it cost? Who did you use? I have a dash listed on ebay as a pick-up only, but I've gotten tons of requests to ship it. Thanks for your input. I've shipped an S14 dash for around $75-85 thru FedEX. They are MUCH cheaper than UPS.
It's all in how you pack it.
I wrapped my dash in bubble wrap a couple times then did some custom SPL fabrication work on the box.

I stood one up in a box, then put another one top of it and taped them up, making one long box. Shipped from Atl to CA it was like $60 through UPS.

Yeah, I shipped one using UPS, don't remeber the cost, but it wasn't bad at all.
It is pretty light and just fits in the size requirements if you pack it right.

dont do ups do fedex. make the box yourself out of cardboard just wrap it around, give it some shape, then staple it. go to a bodyshop looking for some old hood boxes or maybe sears for an old fridge box they just sold. call around and look. cost me near 100ish to ship my dash in fedex, ups was like 2x the cost...

Thanks fellas. UPS gave me a quick quote of a little over $100 to ship from NJ to VA which sounded high.

Office Depot uses UPS and they have a full ship department. You can do all the setup there, using their scale, etc. They don't upcharge either.
And if you're slick, you can fudge the numbers of both dimensions and weight just a hair and cut the costs.
