Ok everyone I am looking towards buying some new seats for my s13 FB... the current ones have stains from hell and reaks of a $5 hoe. I am looking to spend 700 at the most for a pair of new front seats. must be reclineable! and are there any that are not as thick so i can give my occasional rear seat passengers a little more leg space?

Just looking for some recommendatiosn... i am slightly intrested in the company's seats http://www.corbeau.com/ but dont know of anyone having any of theirs.

Edit: I am REALLY intrested in these seats http://www.corbeau.com/products/a4/a4.shtml# but still dont know anyone with them or if they are any good

you mean something like this?

really good seats. the material is kinda thin but i'll just get em reupholstered eventulaly anyhow. they hold me in really well and my head doesn't get near the roof. i'm 6'2" and haven't tested em with helmet yet.

Hmmmm, the WIDE version. lol. That would fit my WIDE version ass. lol. I wonder if the Bride low mount seat brackets will work with these seats. better search I guess...

Makato, you posted the same time as me, lol. what did you do for brackets. I'm 6'1, and wear a helmet at times in the car, so headroom is important

Weight and height are gonna play a BIG factor in which seat you can get.

right in the group buy section. the good part of these knock-offs is there is no name on the headrests or anything. i think i paid $800 shipped for my evo's and love em, but they aren't reclinable. buy the ones in the group buy

Someone mention my name?

They're the Corbeau brackets, without sliders. When I had them in my car, the sliders raised the seats a good inch, so I took them out. With them gone, the holes need to be drilled out a little to accept the seat, and they're slightly banged on because I drilled them out of the car and bolted the seat down, this tweaked the bracket a little and required finesses to get them back in. If you use them in the same manner, you can bolt the bracket down in the car and drill accordingly, then set the seat down to verify the holes.

They're A4s, I liked them a lot but I run a sunroof (S14) and with a helmet I just couldn't get a good comfort setting. I'm 6'2". The fabric is pretty wearable, but it's not bad and for the price they're hard to beat.

That's what I went with after the A4s. Much better fit for a tall guy.

5'10" and 120? :keke:

yeah im a skinny guy... another reason why i figure i go with the A4's is the fact that the dimentions are small thus giving some more space for those in the back.

I have a great advantage against most of you all because of my light weight i make any car faster than some of you large ones :-p

The Bride copies on ebay are much nicer then the Corbeau A4's. I have the Bride Brix "Like" seats in my S13 and I have sat in plenty of Corbeau's. I would not pay good money for the Corbeau. They just feel cheep to me. The Ebay ones are really nice. Only problem with the Bride Brix "LIKE" seats is they are really snug. You can adjust them out at the shoulder and legs to custom fit them to you. Using the rear seat of a 240 is a joke. If you want rear seat room put a Sparco Roadster (fixed back) on the drivers side. It is very comfortable and gives a ton more room then any other seat I have seen. I also have a Sparco Roadster in my sentra. Makes the Back seat like a Limo compared to before. Of course they would have to crawl from the passenger side to the drivers side to sit overthere.

bride has a thing that goes between the seat and bracket that allows a bucket to tilt forward and allow entrance to the back seat. if i had a back seat i'd get one.

how do the speed and sprint versions hold up? because a local shop here sells them for cheap and i may go with one for the driver seat... but im not a big fan of fixed back seats

I loved my Tenzo R Rallys, could drive to vegas and back in those things, and feel fine. Thanks to the iceholes that stole them ....fockers, any how trix motorsports in AZ has pretty good deals on them, or ebay.

backseats in a 240(s13) are pretty much useless unless your putting children back there! which im sure that most of you dont have a 240 for those reasons!
