Guaging my ears...

Ok....so I've had my ears pierced since the 3rd grade, and my mom won't let me get more(LMFAO)...so I'm just guaging them. Today I went out and bought green 10 guage tapers. I've tried everything to get them in. I've even tried K&Y and tried FORCING it in...If they had 12's I woulda got it, but this was the only thing they had. Any suggestions?

ummm clamp? what gauge is in there now. I'm assumingthey are like wire where the smaller the gauge the bigger.

I still have a normal piercing, I think 20 guage. I got the tip sticking out the back of my hole? It's a double curved taper.

buy something smaller, save the 10 gauge for later. If you stretch it to fast you'll end up with nasty scar tissue.

I have my ears stretched to 00. Not huge but i like it at this size.. Everyone says there bigger then 00 so i probably have the wrong size in there, But there nice, People only notice them when they stare!!! (which is annoying)

Well anyway. This is how my jump went. Every month i did one stretch. Thats 4 WEEKS apart. Gives it plenty of time to heal good. I did 14 - 10 - 6 - 4 - 2 - 0 - 00


It might take a while but right now i have no scar tissue, they have healed perfect. no wierd bumps, And sometimes when they fall out while im sleeping, they start to close up. Which means when i choose to let them close for good. It wont take long.

And yes they will close i had a friend close a 1 inch stretched ear. It all depends on the person skin and lobe structure.

Eric, I have sensitive skin. When I disinfected my ear by putting alcohol on it, my ear's tempurature got super hot. But I have really stretchy ears.

Forcing it in will only cause more tissue,. When it builds up. You will have to have the shit cut out of your ear. Try to buy like spikes and stuf to stretch them out.. The best way would be to buy the actual tapers.

No, I was speaking damage control/containment... Shea butter is no more viscous than KY, I wouldn't think, but would be damn sure more effective in the control of stretchmarks/scar tissue

Alot of people use dial soap (in the bottle) Trying using that. And then some vaseline(sp) for the stretch

Good f'in luck getting those in if you have 20g. ears. Tey somehting smaller like a 14g cbr (captive ring). Take your time in working up from there. I have 4g and 6g rings in my ears, and a 14g industrial in my left ear. 3 other piercings besides those. Like someone said, figure 4 weeks between sizes. After you get another ring in, every day a few times, pull gently on the ring, that will slowly help stretch them out. Thats how I did mine. Make sure you keep them good and clean. When you wash them, get the water about as hot as you can handle it, and use a good anti-bacterial soap. If you start to have any problems at all, or build up a keloid (bubble around the hole) stop doing anyhitng with them. Go talk to a good piercer if that happens, or if you have any questions at all.

Just go to a fucking piercer and let them get you started, man up, pay the little bit of extra money, and save your self the hassle. btw I am at a 4g right now going in to have them put in a 2g. I personally could do it, but I would rather have someone who knows wtf they are doing take care of it.

at that point you will have just removed them and your ears will have closed back up. there might be a little scar, but nothing serious.

yeah go get a taper thats what i did i only have mine gauged to a 12. Dont force the 10 in though you dont want to rip the skin around your ear and have scar tissue ,do it the right way ,and be sure to keep them clean

Buy a 10 guage piercing needle. You can get them online for like 5 bux shipped. Anyhow take your time cuz you dont want them to tear. I have a 00 in my left ear and I just started my right. I pierced it with the 10 guage and Im going to get a 8 tommorrow to put in there. This was about a month ago

Definitlly take your time becasue you dont want it to tear. Also what you can do ya know how when u first pierce it you should turn it during the day so the goo dont make it stick or whatever well get into doing that and pull on it at the same time. I do that it helps stretch it I guess plus it gives you something to do right

My homegirl first started to try to push them in at lunch...then a crowd was looking at me...then someone in the crowd(a cute freshman rocker chick) was like "You're doing it wrong, lemme show you (pushes) Me- AHHHHH SHIT FUCKING SONUVA BISH!!! ahhhhhh!!!" Does that mean you want a description of it? LOL well....I just woke up and I took them out to clean my lobe, and when I took em out they REALLY hurt like never before. My ear lobe got fat too. The inside of the ear hole was all bloody, pusy, and had dry bloood in it.

You probably just ripped the hell out of them. First off you dont have to take them out. Just rotate them so they dont stick. Just wipe off all the blood and crap maybe go to a piercing store and buy some of the cleaner stuff they have. Wait a few days and if its still all nasty and not stopping just take them out and let it heal and do it the right way.
