They are actually not releasing ANY version of GT4 with online play. NONE. Online GT will not be a reality until GT5 on PS3 :rant: But GT4 has enough content to keep everyone content until then...btw check out these drift vids from GT4!

I watched a interview with the creater. And he said it was NOT something they were going to offer at all for GT4. Oh well. I guess in 4 more years we'll be able to play GT5 online.

^^^ Based upon previous tentative release dats of this product, you may have wasted your money... I have cursed the guy working in 4 different EB Games stores for trying to get me to pre-pay for the game, even though my intention IS to own the game at 10am the VERY day it is released

Actually this IS THE FIRST release date given by Sony themselves. Thats right, the game has actually NEVER been pushed back. So with that being said, the fact that they had a press release witha specific day is a VERY VERY good sign :bigok: ;)
And why would I have wasted my money. The games gonna come out anyway, and I was planning on getting the wheel, so it's not nearly a waste :2f2f:

Ah...who cares about that game. I know tons of people that own an x-box that are going out to buy a PS2 just so they can get GT4. That gamis going to get forgetton about seeing how it's not coming out until may... :ughd:

According to this interview with the President of Poly. there will not be a online version for GT4 at all. We have to wait til GT5... :duh:

Chris, I will own you in GT3! :p My friend and I used to do all day GT3 marathon playing where we were cutting fractions of seconds off lap times and found the best lines for a lot of the tracks... mostly the carry-overs from GT2.
The license tests suck.. the only way to get better is to race someone who has similar but slightly better skill and identical cars and then you can follow them and see how they take the line and memorize the track. In a 1 on 1 anything can happen and people mess up under pressure so it's best to practice under those conditions.
GT4 should be cool though. I hope they added back the memory card battles!
