How bout that? The other thread got off wrong, started wrong, ended...well wrong so I made a new one to correct my mistake. What is the cheapest way to get the Silvia Front End Conversion? I was thinking of piecing it or should I buy it in a complete set. Which one would be better on the long run. The only thing I would replace is the hood. I want a CF hood on it.
Thanks

like i said in the other thread, look into the group buys. they have pretty badass deals sometimes. you just have to wait for them.

cmon man. what do I have to do? I already apologized on the other thread so give me a break. I will say this again and I'm sure a lot of people will agree with me that if you don't have anything nice or to contribute, just dont reply. ;)

My only tip is search... that or look for the deals yourself. Cheap = bent up, fucked up, etc. I payed an alright amount for my front, but it was straight.

you might want to try venus, they probably have a few, but i bet they're a bit bent up. i suggest that you just save your money though, silvia fronts are becoming more common than the pop ups.

Basically, it comes down to the age old "you get what you pay for" saying. Buying a full silvia front from somewhere might be cheaper than another shop, but the parts might not be as clean. You can also piece it together, but then you have to deal with things not matching and whatnot. Anyway, like a few other people have said, the best advice i can give you is keep a close eye on this and other forums' for sale and group buy sections and see if something comes up thats within your price range. If it looks good to you and you like the price, go for it! Good luck.

Wow. I apologized already on the other board that made me look like an a$$ hole and made a new one with the correct lingo and you still go at it to me....whatever makes you happy...
Hows venus? I heard that they're one of the cheapest, but also got the crappy ones too. Is that right?

I am planning to go to their place. Does any one know the quality that they have? I mean if it's between fair and really good, and not between fair and bad, I think I can deal with that. Thanks
