Foster kept pestering me (just kidding Fiz) about an oil restrictor for the turbo oil feed line for his KA-T. He is running a -4 AN feed line to his turbo from the high pressure port off his oil pressure sending unit. As many people are experiencing an issue with too much volume entering the turbo and getting past the turbo oil seals causing smoke in the exhaust and oil in the compressor housing discharge. I didnt really want to buy anything and figured I could make one pretty easy and not have it look ghetto fabbed.
Here is the result.

What I did was tap a -4 to 1/8 NPT 90* fitting on the AN side to 10-32 and install a set screw. Then the screw was drilled out to the required restrictor size. I called my turbo builder and he recomended .080" hole for a high pressure source. I think it turned out pretty nice and was super simple to do. This mod could be accomplished by just about anybody for pennies (unless you need to purchase a tap). *NOTE* Make sure you dont run the set screw in so far you block off the back side. Also make sure you blow the fitting out and that there are no shavings inside the fitting.
