I only got low boost done which was at 10lbs, it made 256.0rwhp. I need to get this hesitation figured out so i can do some high boost pulls on 16lbs. Well here are the pics of the graph.
1998 Blacktop SR20DET still with the vtc or vvt or whatever its called.

That last Picture shows the attempt on high boost but they couldnt get it completed.

They told me to check my plugs and that they could be it, well i checked them and they looked ok to me and they where all gapped to .031 they are denso irdiums bkr6ei's.

They also said it could be my stock maf sensor or the stock injectors (370cc) hitting fuel cut.

Gap them down.... try .028, that should do the trick. Had one on the dyno this past weekend with the same exact issue and gapping them down took care of the problem and allowed the car to pull clean.

any cons of gapping them any smaller?

I just love the fact that the SR is accurate to the chassis. . . . no more s13/14 mixups. . .

I don't really like the iridium's either. I much prefer plain old NGK coppers. Don't hold up quite as long, but they are cheaper as well. Might even try a step colder.

Not really, idle tends to degrade as you go really tight. You shouldn't have to go much smaller than .025 though.

.28 for stock gap. .25 if your detonating. For colder plugs, id suggest NGK BCPR7ES-11s

wow .28 is stock?! friend had .35 on his(w/ fmic, 3 inch exhaust, intake, downpipe, iridium plugs) and it was running fine.

This is an old thread but i'm pretty desprate at this point.
AenjukuCar, Were you getting missfires/power break up or a fuel cut (where the car bogs violently?) I have a 98 Sr20det engine and I'm having this same problem at high rpm, its at about 5600rpm i get a fuel cut (even at stock boost!!), happend on the dyno, watched my a/f reading rocket to 20 when the cut happends so i know its fuel or ignition being totaly haulted. I'm running the Q45 maf, i tried putting my stock maf in and it did the same thing. Also running a SAFC2, bypassed it, still cut. I cant seem to find the problem. Could not having my speed sensor hooked up cause this fuel cut? Btw this engine is in a 71 240Z using the SR20 engine harness and ECU, painless wiring for the ignition power, fuel pump and ECU power. Please help...
getting frustrated.
