where to read books online??

ok so I gotta grab 3 book sources for my research paper due later. and since we have such short time, my teacher was talking about you could read books onlinesomewhere, tho she didnt know how, she just said people do it. We are just writing summaries on sources since we dont have any time to do a full on research paper. I need to find 3 books about anabolic steroids in sports but I dont know any online sources that let you read em. Anyone know any sites like this?

If your school's library has a website, dig through it and you'll probably find something like this at my alma mater:
