My friend told me that the S15 headlights are HID's is this true???

I think your friend might mean projectors, but as coming stock in an s15 in japan i don't know.

no, he means HID. And as Ivan said, it was an option. However, non HID S15 lighst still accept HID quite well. Good cutoff and light spread.

Does anyone have a site that sells the HID version??? Do they look the same but just HID???

yes, they look the same but have different projectors, and also have bulbs and ballasts. However, IF you can find a pair, they will run you well over a G. I recommend getting regular ones and putting a HID kit in them.

HID S15 headlights were an option and are very rare.
