Get a multimeter and check to make sure your alternator is ok.

you dont need to measure shit all you need to do is check your grounds..its all.

Make shure the surface where it grounds is a good conductor..

maybe the fuses are starting to go bad?

I searched before I made this post and found out that a few other guys were having this problem. It sounds like an alternator. One guy had the fuse go on him. I'll check tomorrow and keep you guys posted.

I'll take it up to Advance to see if the alternator is actually working,, I'm just worried about it only running off of the battery.

I don't really think that the fuses would be going bad. They are usually a one shot deal. By that I mean they are either working or they are not.

In the mean time, if anyone else has any ideas, please let me know, thanks.

Alright, Nick.... I'll beat that ass you keep talking shit! lol, it's ok, I'll remember that when it comes time to swap your motor!

NOW... I monitored the AFC all day and my battery stayed at 14.4 volts the whole time. So, that rules out the alternator. If it was bad, the battery would slowly drop.... 14.0....13.6....13.0.... and eventually get to like 5 or 6.

Good news though... that shit stopped today.... I know... :tweak: ... me too. So, car is pretty much done, runs like a champ.... I'll keep you posted if this continues.

On my s14 theres a cable that runs to the battery into another weird terminal on the positive. That cable gets really loose and sometimes when you drive on bad roads or just have a really stiff suspension it will even come off. Just check that cable and you should be set.
