Mike left because he had other ideas than what mods/admins thought was necessary. Kid Zelda was a moderator of a regional forum. Then he got pinked by an admin (only admins can adjust moderators' profile). So he made a new user name, which is a bannable offence, and in the TOS of Zilvia.

Now. To the Only Bitches Lock Threads. Some of you are praising Kid Zelda for what he did, and down with the man, and all that goodness. How about people practice what they preach? http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=60865&page=2 . Have I ever locked a thread and stated "Bow Down"? He got cocky with his "power", and then started becoming a problem.

Finally. I've warned people about posting this Bitches lock threads shit. Now I am going to follow through with my warnings. If you don't like what Zilvia has become, leave. Don't waste space and bandwidth bitching about it. If you have a useful opinion, feel free to say something. Mods/admins listen to suggestions, but nothing happens from circle-jerks with some griping in between.

You can suggest all you'd like. But the fact is, this is the 3rd or 4th thread about this. The first 1-2 threads, mods/admins were polite about it, and tried to diffuse the situation. That didn't really work, and every thread since then turns into a mini-mutiny. And we can't have that.
I'm fairly good about checking the difference between sarcasm and jokes, and people bieng unsettled. Holisticbeatz posting that pic "For Kid Zelda"? He was warned and pinked over that once before. So to do it again.. he's pink for 2 months. Old_S13? He was warned about that also, and now he's banned. Nobody else crossed the line between expressing feelings and taking the wrong side of the arguement, yet. So I am just warning people. In jest, express whatever you'd like (however, I know that 90% of what's said in jest is true). Just don't cross that line and give support to a side that will lose 100% of the time.
Lastly, I'm not hurt about anything. It irritates me when people who have talked to me via pm, aim, email, people whome I've helped in the past with issues.. outright complain about "what zilvia has gone to" (See the Kreator thread that started most of this). But it's ok. I don't mind bieng unpopular, because I'll never see 95% of you people.

How does pinking piss you off? I don't recall you being pink, so it must be the pink user names. Before pinking, we had bans, and temporary bans. Now with pinkings, we have a lesser punishment. Everyone, including the offender, would rather have pink users than no users. The pink users show moderation that has happened... which previously went unnoticed. The number of offenders and punishments hasn't risen much at all. But the fact people can see it, they get into a hissy. Last January, 11 people were permanently banned. Just in January. This January, 4 people were banned (some were duplicate accounts, like "Kid Zelda v2", and 5 were pinked. Comparing month to month... we've had less punishments handed out. Less severe punishments in general. Yet people say moderation is at an all time high, and power trip, and blah blah blah. As anyone can see, this is purely in people's head.

people just need to learn to follow the rules, I move for a new rule to help save bandwith, the 10 second rule. when ever you are about to post something re-read it and take 10 seconds to think if anybody is really going to care or if you might get in trouble for it, or whatever. after those 10 seconds then you can post it.
