Short Meet @ Sacramento Raceway

Hey, guys, I wanted to let you know about a meet that will be going on at Sacramento Raceway on Wednesday, March 27 at 5:30pm.  

I have posted this on the G2 Integra Club board as well (as I used to be a member there and thought I would invite some old friends) and hope to have any and all sacramento people show up that want to come out.

We'll just be hanging out, getting to know eachother.  I've always wanted to run my car in the 1/4 so we'll be doing that too.  Whenever we feel like leaving we could all go get some food and talk for a bit, then head home.

I originally thought about doing it on Sunday but they were telling me its $6 on wednesdays vs. considerably more on weekends.

Hey could you give me some general directions? Like what highway to get off of, where to go from there, where exactly you'll all meet, what to look for, etc...

Oh and is UC Davis nearby? My friend goes there but I've never visited him before. Maybe he'll let me stay there overnight so I won't have to drive back home the same night. &nbsp;<img src="#/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

Edit: &nbsp;Nevermind about UCD. They have spring break next week so my friend's not gonna be there. Looks like I'll just drive back the same night. Oh well, an hour and a half isn't too bad. Anyway, directions please. &nbsp;:]

Directions:

From the west (S.F):

Take I-80 to Hwy 50 and exit Sunrise.
Turn right at the end of the sunrise off-ramp.
Follow sunrise to Hwy 116 (Large Intersection in B.F.E)
Turn right on to 116
After 2 or 3 miles, turn right on Excelsia road.

Track will be on right.

Thanks man. Hmm... Your directions are kind of different from the map. Oh well, I'll find it somehow. &nbsp;<img src="#/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'> &nbsp;I'll be the Asian guy with the red 1998 S14, no sideskirts (but soon), no spoiler, and no emblems on the back.

I've never been there before, and I know the area so my directions will work for me, but I would recommend using the directions on the website for the track. &nbsp;This should get you there more reliably.

If for some reason you get lost, call me at (916) 524-1358 and I'll do my best to talk you to the track.

Hehheh thanks. Well I'm back home now. I didn't have any trouble finding the place but I ended up arriving at 6:45. &nbsp;>_< &nbsp;Took over 3 hours to get there. (I forgot about rush hour traffic.) I saw 4 other 240SXs total. A white zenki S14, a white kouki S14, a blue zenki S14, and a silver S13. They didn't seem to be together tho. Guess I missed the meet (if there was one &nbsp;=P). That was my first time seeing legal drag racing. Did you see that motorcycle that got something like 9.3 seconds? &nbsp;=D &nbsp;Whoosh...

Edit: &nbsp;Wait were you the white S14a that ran against the... Forgot what you went against. &nbsp;=P &nbsp;Well if that was you, I got a couple pics which I can post up later.

Yeah, I went against that civic who was running a B18c (gs-r) motor with nos. &nbsp;He whipped my ass. &nbsp;Nice guy though <img src="#/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> &nbsp;

I had a lot of troubles hooking up tonight, but thought my car would do better at the 1/4. &nbsp;Maybe the problem wasn't the car, but was my inexperience. <img src="#/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Post any pics you got! &nbsp;I'm really dissapointed I didn't end up seeing you. &nbsp;drifting240racer ended up being there and saw me waiting to stage. &nbsp;Maybe next time <img src="#/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
