Hey asshole, I did not see the lip on jspec, only a trust lip. I would like to find a shop other than jspec that will offer better prices.

Umm....there is nobody that can get that lip and offer it to you for lower than $500....and that's not factoring in shipping.

Japan yahoo auction, good luck on that bud...even in Japan it's extremely hard to find. Price usually go up to 25000~30000yen used but here probably $400.

no use being an ass. He asked a simple question.

Btw check out the c-west lip. That's nicer in my opinion.

Wait i read a while back that the optional Kouki lip isnt really a lip at all. Instead its actually a whole different bumper. Is that true??? But yah if you have the stock one, id suggest the C-west lip. Is the greddy/thrust one fiberglass or polyurethane??? If it is, id rather rock that cuz itll take a whole lot of abuse.

My brother mentioned this board a couple of months ago before he got incarcerated :bite:... long story, dont bother asking... anyway, before he left he passed on his '98 240sx and told me to continue and finish his project, tole me about this website and I've been reading through the archives of threads on this forum learning more about the car. I did have prior knowledge since i myself had a '91 fastback. this thread confirms what my brother claimed about his JDM kit to be really valuable ( I always told him about getting a Vertex before doing the OEM kit a year ago)... here it is at is present state...

I've only been on this thread for about 2 months but never really looked into how to attach pics.. I have another pic of the car but don't know how to attach without going over the memory limit for this board, can anyone tell me how to post pics like the first one??? thanks.

Supra Hunter, was your bro the one selling the JDM items a long time ago? I remember that sn was selling jdm sideskirts, etc.

anyway, to post pics such as the first one, use an image host such as cardomain or photobucket.

Speaking of Kouki lips, anyone know a place to get a 180SX Kouki lip for less than the listed $400 at phase2? I'm sure after shipping and tax it'll be $500. Then add painting costs... :eek3d:

for those with the kouki front and foglights. does the foglights mount to the bumper ot bumper support?
with a front mount does it still fit?

have any of you put the fogs on an after market bumper?
looking for a set too!

OptionZero

I believe they mount to the bumper. There are also black frames which also attach to the bumper to give it the hotness look.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v482/OptionAero/My%20240/DSCN1149.jpg

You could probably mount it to an aftermarket bumper with some drilling, provided your bumper has suitably sized openings in front.

It should fit with a front mount, because don't JDM bumpers and bumper supports come with a cutout for front mou nts? That would seem to indicate Nissan Japan anticipated people putting IC's in front. One potential problem is that the wiring and mounting brackets might hog space for IC piping, depending how convoluted yo ur setup is. This is conjecture, I haven't compared it to any ICs as my car is NA.

No, I believe there is a Vertex lip thats out of production. Vertex front bumpers are not rare, they are a piece you could order and receive relatively easily (www.speedalliance.com i believe).

My JDM bumper already had the lip on it so I got lucky...that and it was already painted the same color as my car. The bumper looks so much better with the lip on it

Vertex does make a lip for the jdm kouki bumper:

Never mind, just now realize that it's a c-west. It looks damn fine though.

Jspec or West Covina Nissan can fulfill your needs.

S14 Zenki/Kouki Chasis (http://www.jspec.com/s14zenchas.html)

Now please, don't bump a 4 year old thread for something you could have easily found by searching.
