there was a discussion on this a while ago from rx7club.com, and they are fake. When the deal seems too good to be true.....

always read the fine print...

"Bride Brix 2 Style"

They're getting better at making the fakes, not using the obviously fake suede material anymore...

The replicas were in Alacantra material(sp?) he claims this is authentic Bride. He used an authentic Bride pictures although they may be fakes. He priced them at fake bride prices so it probably is fake. Send an email to Bride and they can get it removed from Ebay.

Except for when they get there and they dont look like what was in the picture. I have seen the fakes and they look like the tom motorsport $200 a pair ones with Bride stitched on them, with the Bride adjustment knob.

i can get you these seats unbadged for like $200 canadian per seat...just over that with our 15% taxes actually.

$600 USD for a pair is a rip

since they are fakes anyways you might not want to have the Bride logo on them anyways.

the seats are decent, better than the APC seats for sure and at the price you cna buy 4 of them before you buy 1 Bride.

i guess that how it went with the front bumper in ur sign right? if that is ur car

i gues syou dont care about quality and structure. yea they claim these are blackmarket coming out from brides backdoor but nobody can verify if thats true.

good luck buying fake bride and having it crack on you.

yeah, actually the front bumper help up great up until i smashed into something...so your point is kinda invalid...i got it for free anyhow

my point is, if they function the same, then good enough for me. I'm only 18 and i dont have a good job, so i can barely afford cheap seats. let alone a bride. I dont plan to buy those cuz even if i was in the market for seats, i'd be looking for only 1 and a bucket at that

its not just about the name on the seat

a bride seat is better quality and safer im sure, engineered better, etc

do you want to crash with a lawn chair in your car as a driver seat?

maybe a piano bench?

theres a reason why apc seats arent the same price or as popular as a sparco or bride or cobra or recaro

dont spend money on bullshit for your car when the stock option is better

which is why for now in my 240 i just pull the seatbelt all the way out, then pull it firmly taught against my chest...cuz i have stock seats and no harnesses

Those look very similiar to the Knock Offs I have already. You guys can claim they are cheap, blah, blah, but they are actually pretty nice. I took the foam off and the frame looks good on mine. Not too different then the oem seat. They are tight and you can adjust the tightness a little (just like you can on a oem seat). Overall a decent buy. I have a Real Sprarco roadster in one car and these in another. The roadster flexes far more then these seats do. I have pics hosted at sr20forum.

Go ahead, flame away. I know some of you will but the quality seems pretty good to my eye and I have actually looked at them. Most of you have not. BTW the non-bride seats sell for about 220 plus shipping. Shipping is 110ish so they are jacking up shipping to lower the price of the seat it seems.

They say that the part the harnesses come through are very unsupported and loose, are these problems in yours? Im tempted to get them if i cant find s14 seats locally...

"This is in a 240 so the install was a PITA."

why is that?
and whats up with the hybrid seat rail?
and no no to universal bracket/slider combination

woah woah, i want one too.

how much would it be shipped to CA, and also, do you think my real bride rail would fit it>

The seats are a PITA to get low enough You have to offset the inside slider. Thats the hard part. I don't even fiddle with the pass thru for the seatbelts. They don't ever fall out or anything. Don't know what else to say really.

The bottom mount pattern looks the same as Recaro or Bride RO-type. I'm going to guess, 405mm (16") side to side?

You could use a Bride rail with the MO/RO adapter if you don't know how to weld. Then you'd be spending as much on the rail as you did on the seat, though...

I was told they bolt right up to the bride brix seat rails. Don't have them so I don't really know. Making a adapter to get them to work to those rails would not be that hard.

Hopefully with all the brackets it doesnt end up like all the other cheap-o replicas where your head ends up hitting the roof.
