Yes, if I'm not mistaken they used a dashboard from an Altima. Someone correct me if I'm wrong about what car they used the stuff from.

TachyonS14 - That's the cleanest LHD conversion R34 I've seen.

The RBMotoring R34 had a custom mirror image dash made out of fiberglass and leather. It's actually nicer than the original plastic dash, hah!

Someone in Finland did the same thing with an R32... made his own dash out of fiberglass and leather, used the steering shaft and rack from a Z32 (almost a bolt in), his main hurdle was fabricating a new downpipe setup that flowed well and cleared the steering.

The R33s I've heard of from the middle east (I think these guys are from Dubai, UAE) use the Altima dashes.

R34 from the UAE. LHD conversion. It was for sale awhile back.

IIRC they used a Maxima/Altima dash for the conversion, its quite common in the UAE (the oil barons can do anything with all that money they have).

..... and wierd to see diablos/mustangs/skylines/supras in a middle eastern country...

why would you say that? those guys have more money than they know what to do with, and they can have any car in their country that they want. If I had a scanner, I would show you guys an article in this months Drift Tengoku. A couple of guys did a clean R34 front end conversion on an R32, made it LHD w/ a custom dash (foamed, then FRP'd). Painted it bayside blue and it looks cherry. If I could read Japanese, I'd tell you how they did the LHD conversion.

edit: oh yeah, I see why. Your only 14.
