240 OR DIE

Well guys Im in need of nissan documentation as to the available options for a 95 s14. This is the deal, I stomped ass in auto-x(sts) all last year. There was a question as to the legality of my vlsd. I installed it 2yrs ago, and under the rules and according to available documentation vlsd was available only as a package with abs. I need to see if infact it was possible to have gotten a 240 from the dealer with vlsd and w/o abs. Many have said its possible, but that they were rare, but I need something that says it was definitely possible. And if it isnt then Ill gladly move on, but as for now Im sticking to my guns and would rather not have to install abs just to be legal. Any help appreciated-Justin

click your 1995 model...
it's a direct scan from the brochures..

unfortunately for you, vlsd always came with abs as a package.
edit: looking at the 1996 model, it says VLSD can actually come with ABS OR leather/security package.
so maybe it is possible to get VLSD w/o ABS, but I know it's pretty rare like you said.

My Car has options from every group on there. Even ones that on another brochure said was not available together.
So anything is possible. Luckly I found the OG window sticker in my car after I bought it.

In 1996, the leather/security option included VLSD and ABS all as one package. 95s has security standard, and the VLSD/ABS and leather as different options.
Canadian market cars came equipped with VLSD in some cases without ABS.
