anyone have any idea why my file transfers are soo slow? I have cable internet, and i have recieved files from people pretty fast, but whenever i send something outgoing, its sloow, like 56k slow, usualy like 5k a sec... is thiere any settings in aim?

probably your upload speed is slower than your download speed. that's not uncommon for broadband

Cause you are going thru the AOL servers. It's not a direct transfer.
