View Full Version : SPL Parts problems and apology
Hi everyone, I just wanted to apologize to everyone who called, emailed or place an order with us in the last month, who did not get the customer service they deserved. I had been on holiday for the last month and had left my only employee in charge... since we were closed for 2 of the 4 weeks, and the period after christmas is typically pretty quiet, I had not thought it would be a problem... Until I got back last weekend and discovered a full voicemail box and a bunch of unanswered emails :(
I have been working to fill orders, answer voicemails/emails in the last few days, and I think I am reasonably caught up. Unfortunately I was not kept updated on the stock situation, so some items are badly backordered and I had only found out early this week. I have sent in the restocking order and the parts are shipping out from Japan asap, I should have most orders cleared up next week.
Again I apologise to all customers who experienced problems with their orders, please let me know if there is anything I can reasonably do to make up for this. For those who called or emailed us and did not get a response, please try us again, I hope this recent experience will not have turned you away.
And for the future, I think when I take a holiday I will just keep the shop closed, rather than risk lowering our standard of customer service...

My email from last week were replied to quickly and you even called to let me know my check got there, all in all i'm very pleased :)
Are the S13 RUCA's instock? I may order them as the used I wanted pair got sold to someone else.

I forgot I even asked you to cancel my order, so, when I got the refund in my paypal, it made my day. At least they're honest.

Tension rods and RUCAs are backordered right now, but my shipment from Japan will be here next week...

this is the kind of caring about the customer from a shop I like to see. keep up the good work. I'll be ordering a set of KTS from you here shortly. soon as I verify how much the engine rebuilds gonna run me :( so set aside a S14 set for me!

The Defi cluster has been shown in past 2-3 years at TAS, Defi still has no ETA or definite plans to release it afaik...

i ordered from them while they were on vacation and wrote a note saying i needed it by jan 15. and they got it in! great services no need for apology. :)

thank you for a apology, I must have placed my order the day you left, I was realy wondering what was going on 2 weeks later when I didnt hear a thing from you guys. I dont know if I talk to you or the other guy on the 5th but I apologize for being a pain. I have got most of my order just yesterday, and was very happy to get it !

EDIT: pwned by not reading off-topic... someone did complain. ah well. At least he owned up to his mistake.
