Seriously tho, his physics are bad, but you obviously have no appreciation of the difficulty in making a 3d animation like that. I've used 3d studio and Maya, and let me tell you, that must've taken that guy weeks to do... he just should've storyboarded a little better ;)

Kinda cool, but wouldve been better if it was a civic and an integ or something. Pretty easy to do two of the same car. I think the creator half-assed the whole thing. He should make another vid.

The video was a project...it took weeks to create....so what if there were 2 of the same cars....there were time restictions.
Why would someone want to animate something like this? What if you had to do a project for school I am sure you would do it if the class meant anything to you.

just to briefly answer..we are primarily a Maya house and do everything from conception to compositing and post...we also use After Effects, 3D Studio Max, Z-Brush, Flash, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

we've been around for about a year doing music video and video game work..would love to, and hope to someday, get into film...before that i was working in set design for music videos and commercials...a friend from college started this company though and gave me a call asking if i would be willing to leave my job and come on board over here in a VP position...so i figured what the hell...if the company takes off i'm set..if not it's a great experience...

anyway..we've always got new stuff in the works so i'll keep everyone posted next time we release something worthwhile..
