Computer OS question...

so I need to reinstall windows xp pro and i cant seem to find my xp disc (where hte hell did it go?).. anyways, any opinion on windows xp media center edition 2005? I can get that, just wanted to know how (if any) better then older pro with sp2? Im always game for newer software.. or is pretty much the same with addition of a new media player?

MC edition usually is pretty cool as long as your hardware components are compatible with the OS. I forget what the requirements are, but its a nice feature if you can set it up correctly. The new additions i think is the addition of the radio feature, Itunes buying ability, and uhhh... hmm.. i thin kthats about it. Other than that, if you can get the 2005 editiion for cheap, go for it, make sure you have a remote or something so you can utilize the Media Center navigation screen.

unless you use your comp as a htpc its worrthless. just find your xp pro~
