I'm having a problem with my SR. :wtc: The car is turning off when I turn left. It has done it three times now. It does it when I'm coming up to a left turn and going about 35 or so and then I put the clutch in then put it Neutral then move the steering wheel to the left very little to the left turning line then as I start to turn the car dieds and all my light on my dash are on (battery light, check engine light, e-brake light, etc) and I can not move the steering wheel correctly. It was very hard to turn when the car dies. I really do not like this problem. What could it be? Thanks for you help :)

Check your wiring and make sure everything is tied down to eliminate movement.

Sounds like crankwalk.

That's b/c the car is left-hand drive...
To fix this, it must be more JDM, and you must convert to RHD. Problem solved...you're welcome.

Hehehe...OK, so it wasn;t that funny.
Anyway, sounds like wiring..look for broken/cracked connectors on stuff like the ignitor and MAF.
Alternatively, start the car, get under the hood, and shake the harness, see what happens...maybe a bad splice/solder/crimp.
Good luck - Brian

The reason its so hard to turn when the car shuts off, is because the power steering pump isnt working anymore, and it becomes manual steering.

cant be crank walk, cus the engine sits differently than DSMs =P
could be some problem with the ignition switch . maybe you are creating an open circuit when you turn left. a wire may be stuck or out of place??????

Well it looks like you won`t be able to race in NASCAR anymore. sorry man, that sucks, but I have had that happen to be before too and it was when i was turning left. I don`t know what the deal was, but my har has stopped doing it. It does it completely randomly, but it hasn`t happened in past few months.
