abs question

How do i tell if my 89 240 has ABS? I dont have any owners manual, and i bough the car used. any help would be appreciated

There is a large and heavy valvebody with brakelines around it on the left side of the engine on the firewall, also your diff should have a vlsd sticker on it if your trying to figure out if you have mad tyT3 gr1p y0.

here is the easiest way. pop your hood. open fuse box. check for anti skid fuse. if it doesnt have a fuse there, then you dont have abs.

Also look at your cluster. You shouldnt have a abs light. Also open up the hood and look on the passenger side on the firewall of the car. You shouldnt see a actuator. It will look like this for non-abs.

actually my car has the se sport package, spoiler, front air dam extension, power windows, cruise control and 205/60r15 alloy wheels, leather strapped steering wheel. ill check the fuse box though...

ok checked fuse box, there was no relay/fuse where the anti-skid relay/fuse should be. and my pass. firewall looked just like it does in the pic above. so i guess i can safely say im non abs.
