different ride heights from 89 and 91+

ive seen a few 240's that are 91 plus that have spring/shock setup and they sit lower then 89's with the same setup?
i don't understand this! is there something different in the geometery of the suspension.
isn't it all the same?
also don't the 91 plus have smaller fender gap to start out with? :confused:
please if anyone can clear this up id appreciate it.

the shocks arn't blown, springs are all the same. So why is that the 91 plus sits lowerd then the 89?

SOHC engine weighs less than DOHC engine? I don't know. In any case, the stock fender-wheel gap is ridiculously large.

some cars have 195/60/15 vs 205/60/15. My bro has the 195 setup and his car sits lower than mine with less wheel gap than my 205.

everything is the same tires everything is exactly the same except for the year of the cars. and ive seen this on more then one occasion!

Could be sagging springs from age. My old s13 had springs that were saggin on the rear left but it wasn't noticable unless u were about 20 feet away. Stock for stock, they are all the same specs. You can get a service manual and compare the specs too if ur not sure.

some 91-93's came with an optional sport suspension package, which (correct me if i'm wrong) sit about half an inch lower than usual because of different springs.

lol im the hevier driver, and my car sits higher. i don't know what the hell it is. everyone post pics up of your 89's droped with sportlines, and others post up 91 plus droped with sportlines i bet the 91 plus will sit lower.
