I'm buying new wheels for my S13. I've done the research already and am planning to get...

Volk Racing SF-Challenge
18x8 5x114.3 +36 with 225/40/18 (Front)
18x9 5x114.3 +35 with 235/40/18 (Rear)

but Im planning to tuck it under the fenders a little. I got 5-Lug swap, JIC SF-1 coilovers no big brakes yet, and no widebody or rolled/pulled fenders and am also planing to run -1.0 to -1.5 camber. but before I go ahead and buy these does anyone see a problem with this?. Now the thing that throws me off is that I was on the volk racing website the sizes have a Offset A, B & C which I have no clue what these mean can anyone fill me in?

more info here http://www.rayswheels.co.jp/cgi-bin/cgi2/english/sizeGuide.cgi?modelName=SFC

you're gonna need spacers to make those front wheels clear the coilovers. don't worry about "tucking it under the fenders a little", it'll be tucked under the fender a LOT. the A,B,C refers to the backpad thickness. It's for people who are looking for huge lip (not you) and people looking to clear huge brakes (not you again) so you'll be fine with whichever ones the wheels you are looking at have.

well basiclly im trying to get the biggest rims with the biggest lip i can fit. i dont mind running a little negative camber but nothing drastive like -4 or anything. pretty much i want it like these... still beable to tuck it under and have a fat ass lip with out crazy stretching

the rears will just barely stick out, maybe about ~half inch
I rolled my rear fenders out to easily over a 1/4"
nice wheels!

Hmmm those car you pictured arent running crappy sizes or offsets.

Offset A= BIG BRAKE (larger pad smaller lip)
Offset B= Medium Brake (medium pad medium lip)
Offset C= Small Brake (small pad BIG lip)

リム深さ = Rim Depth/Lip Size.

For you go

Front 18x9 +15 OFFSET A (incase you have Z brakes)
Lip would be 2.5"

Rear 18x10 +11 OFFSET C
Lip would be about 4"

Do that and be cool!

well I have 180SX brakes in the front which are slightly larger than the 240SX so would that be considered "Offset B"?

would a 10 really fit in the rear without rolling or rubbing?? that just doesnt seem right

gt-rps13: you've really got some searching to do. There are only so many times that wheel size/offset freaks will repeat themselves. don't say you can't find it. that would mean that you either didn't look or you suck so much at searching that you probably shouldn't be using a computer, much less working on a car. :)

You will probably end up rolling your fenders anyway, so you might as well get some good offsets. Just remember.. a 15 by 7 0 offset will fit just fine in the rear...so you can probably get away with a (?) by 9/10 running a +15/26. Im not the greatest when it comes to offsets but that seems alright.

you can't have awesome fitting shit if you're a pussy and don't want to roll/pull. be a man and pick up the bat.

what are the rims on the black h/b? Those look fricking cool. anybody remember the the black h/b that was on Enjuku's website? It had the s15 front end on it, (they called it a strawberry face conversion) running some really crazy negative camber? I tried to find the pict, but it is not on their website. The rims looked liked like the ones above. didnt know if it was the same car. any info on what the wheels are would be appreciated

I can see why some of you guys are upset because i've seen a ton of offset threads already on these forums but like I said in my first post I have not seen a thread which explains the A, B & C offsets. anyways thanks to those who helped me out

you can't have awesome fitting shit if you're a pussy and don't want to roll/pull. be a man and pick up the bat.

as u can see in the photo above the quarter panels are not rolled or pulled and the wheels are look and fit nice. and the reason i do not want to roll/pull is because my car was just painted. later down the line i will get a big brake setup and get wide body and spacers all at the same timeso no problem there. you dont have to be a dick about it
