I was wondering if someone could list some good places, in the northwest suburbs of Chicago (around Niles), for engine swaps and just other random projects (paintjob, electronics, body kits, etc.)

Thanks in advance

I was just at one on Mcormick street (?) with S13Grl this weekend.  It was decent.  Good selection but more geared to the honda crowd, but it seemed like some of the guys there were willing to help out a 240 owner.

Just curious, what is your car if you have one?  I just saw a red S13 with K-1 wheels and a big wing on 90 as I was driving in this weekend.  Wondering if its you or someone on the list.

well I don't have a car but just here doing research, might be a little too early for all this research but I like to know as much as I can when buying something that cost more than 50 bucks (lol im cheap)

The shop you are talking about I think is Drivers Image, don't remember exactly what street its on, but I know its mainly Hondas. Was it liek small with front bumpers on one side of the wall rims on the other and the counter on the the other two walls?

Actually, a friend of mine who's on team ronin recommended garage kwai...when i get enough money, i'm going to actually take my car there.  A friend of mine also owns mct racing up on argyle..he's pretty good about his prices too..and then there's cybertek in chinatown..one guy there has a s14. haven't seen it for awhile though...but it looks nice.
