I never thought it'd be me on the streets - I'm not one to try to "drift" on public roads. But today, my car and the rain decided to try drifting for me. Chalk it up to stupidity, tiredness, whatever. Blah. Don't worry about me, I'm okay. But my 240SX is just plain gone from the strut towers forward. Probably fixable, but not worth it anyway.

No pics, but for all the vultures, I will probably be selling my wheels and some spare parts I had. Depends what I get to replace it. :naughty:

damn bud, sorry to hear that.
now about those spare parts, you know I'm local, and it'd be great if your car could live on, a la my car.
:naughty: yeah I'm an asshole.

You ppl should find a large paved area to drift on, no curbs, people, and cars.

My friends and I go to a local transport shipping yard after hours.

or they could be real mature and go to an actual sanctioned event rather than risk their lives as well as other peoples. yeah shit happens at events too but usually an ambulance is already there, and if not at least somebody who knows what they are doing is, its a controlled environment there.

The dude said that he did not intentionally drift, but that he crashed because he accidentally lost control. hope this thread doesn't turn into a track vs. street debate again :cj:

Yeah, I hit a puddle, the back end came out, and I ran out of talent. I was going at a good clip, but not particularly screwing around nor trying to be cool. I was commuting to work. This was a ramp I've taken every day for the past three years. It was just wetter than I expected.
