I am about to do an engine swap in my 1993 240sx. Which will be better:
Purchase a front clip or just the engine and tranny?

it'll be easier to get the engine and tranny bc it takes up less space but its better to get the whole clip just cuz your getting everything under the hood...

that is what i was trying to discover, whether i would save more than $1000 difference in the clip and just the engine/tranny

i say it all depends on what your gonna do. if your gonna run a stock SR for a while then front clip is the best option. if your planning on doing hardware upgrades ie: fmic, alum. radiator, intake, bigger turbo, etc then just get a motorset (motor and tranny) and save some money for the aftermarket parts. saved me a shitload of money.
