where can I find the dust boots for tie rods? mine are torn to shreds. nissan wanted like $60 for these, and they are special order so i wouldnt get them right away. the local parts store have generic 1/2 or 9/16 tie rod boots, but i am not sure if they will work.

who has replaced these, and what did you end up using?

i have tein tie rods and ends to install, and i dont want to wreck them by using a bad boot. any suggestions people?

also i did a search and people were mentioning inner and outer boots as well. im pretty sure i only have inner boots, but the bushing on the outer tie rod itself CAME with a boot around it. just the tiny one that faces up and down...

think you could dig up a part number? the only dealership in the area seems to be a bastard, and they wanted lots of money and for me to wait a long ass time! ;) if not, no big deal i can alway try bugging them again.

Not sure if this is it...but you might want to try these part numbers....

I just got mine at napa for $20 a pair. The stock replacements even fit with my tein tie rods.

Someone told me the tie rod boots for s14s are the same as s13s. Not sure what you've got. But at 4 dollars each, this is the cheapest i've seen.
