some of those cars confused the hell out of me....
what was the kit on that rsx made out of?
i swear i saw a civic front end on a mazda wagon
i think there was an SR motor in a SC300
and where did they find that many old ass skylines?

Does anyone else think that that's a really FAT gas pedal on the civic (13th pic), and correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the RSX w/ the top mount cooler seem like it would me inop. There doesn't seem to be any in or out for it on the hood. Just seems a little odd to me.

I'm trying to figure out what it is, the chrome blinds me. But it looks like a S15 Varietta.

sure, your one to talk w/ a, quote, "I just got a red neon kit installed under the car......". And from the general direction that I see your ride going on your cardomain page.

Looks like the theme this year is 'bling'. That Z31 is badass, and the blue 240z has some beautiful engine work.

well those pics are from over 1 year ago! My parents bought this 240 brand new in 1989. so when i turned 16, they gave it to me as I had always shown interest in it and it was starting to fall apart and starting to rust! I took the car in last winter to get the body all fixed up and at the same time put on the C-west kit. I know that those rims have aweful offset and when i bought them, i just wanted something that would look nicer then stock and I had no knowledge of what offset was. :smash: I am now taking all these ricey things off the car. This winter the whole car is being stripped down to bare metal from the driver seats back! I am planning on making this car a full drift spec car, while still driving it daily! I ordered a pair of GP SPORTS GR-6 coil-overs last week from auto R&D and im still looking for a new set of wheels. Im undecided between 3 models. Sorry for this post being off topic from the thread but i just wanted to let you guys know why i had done what i had done to the car before you guys started bashing me!

even if those wheels had acceptable offset, they'd still look like shit.
you didn't have to bring offset into it.

WOAH! that's totally insane! i think you're the first.

But yes! Back to the coverage!
I KNEW I SHOULD HAVE GONE!...

i think there was an SR motor in a SC300

That's a 1JZ (or 2JZ - dunno), not an SR. The easy giveaway is the manifold placement.
oooooo look, the valve cover is red. Must be an ESSSSSARRRRRRRR

haha this is sad. I was there for ~3 hours yesterday and didn't see half of these cars. Ok, well maybe not that bad, but there are some cars I'm seeing pics of that I didn't see there.
Those pics were taken friday (Media Day). It's easy to figure that out because a.) they're already online and b.) there's not 40000000 people in the shot.
We're going back today to try and catch what we didn't catch yesterday.
Don't count on me to post more than a few pics because a.)I have very limited bandwidth and b.) i'm still learning my camera and am not happy with alot of the shots I've taken yet.

If it were a matter of you not being able to tell the diff btwn a 1JZ and 2JZ I wouldn't give you grief. Inline 6 and inline 4 is a big difference... esp with the swapped placement of manifolds.
relax. it's just the internet.
