i just recently got the SR fired up and oil is spitting from under the intake manifold. A mecahanic who works on SR20det's says its from the oil pressure sensor and that it was missing a plug. Also he says the ka24de oil pressure sensor would be the same thing. Who can help me?

Throw it away and put a real gauge in.
The OE switch is notorious for blowing apart and leaking, plus it's completely useless.

What gauge? If you've got a gauge already and it's not reading pressure, double check it.
If you're counting on the OE switch, it doesn't trip until it sees 8psi. In other words, anything above idle, after you see chunks blow out the side of the block, the warning light will come on.

couldnt that oil spitting out be caused when u change the oil filter and the gaskets stays on the block and when u put on the new oil filter there are 2 gaskets? causing it to squirt out?

i changed the filter when the motor was out of the block. I dont know why i didnt see that hole not plugged up but i guess i wanst looking. the mechanic says its for an oil pressure signal and superior issan says its only 13 buck. pretty good i guess. but no it's not from the oil filter, the filter is a brand new fram from a b13. fits perfectly. i had the mechanic double check everything and he says he got it down to that. who knows how to install this piece?

Yes the oil pressure switches do tend to leak over time and they do not tell you anything. If you get an oil pressure gauge you will most likely fix your leak and be able to tell what the oil pressure is. This is good because low oil pressure will kill your engine.
