After my car warms up I can smell gas. SO I checked my plug which are only 300 miles old and they seem to have a little too much carbon on them. When I took them out my socket was wet from cylinder one. It had a few drops on it, and it wasn't gas. So do have a bad head gasket? Maybe its time to scrap the KA-T plan and get an SR20. LOL.

you could check your oil to see if there is gasoline in your engine , or you could start your car with a plug out and see if it spits out coolant. either way get it checked and you shouldn't run on it.
blew out my GT-S a few months back.. was a bitch to get it repaired..

Hummm...could it be that what yer smellin' is acutally the antifreeze burning and not gas? If it's wet and it ain't gas or oil then it has to be antifreeze. Could be a head gasket or even worse a cracked head. Now, was the electrode on the end of the plug wet or just the socket? Take a flashlight and look down into the spark plug hole (if you can) and look for water on top of the piston. If there's any then you got problems.
Don't scrap the KA-T idea. Rebuild that sucker and punch it out a little (over bore), git a good set of forged pistons and slap on a turbo kit. For about 3 or 4 grand you'll have a screamer! At least that's what I'd do! <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

stick a clean shop rag down in there and pull it out. Smell the wet part. Got any smell to it?

Nope no smell as far as I can remember. In the morning I will go out there and check it again.
