Spring 240sx meet CHICAGO

Hi,

    My name is Art, I am the 240SX regional leader for the Chicago area.  I held a 240SX meet last year in the fall.  There was about 10 cars that showed up.  I was planning to hold another 240SX meet again this spring and wanted to see who was up for it.  I have already talked to some people say that they would drive up from NYC, MN, IN, and WI.  

    So what I want right now is too see who would be interested in a 240SX meet in the spring time here in Chicago.  I don't have a date yet, but after I see how many will show, I will start planning the date.

Are you going to limit this to only 240 owners?  I would love to get some more people involved.  I know that I can get 5-10 people to come with me to any gathering you have planned.  However if you want to keep it strictly 240's that's cool.

Well, I was just thinking that I might just want to do a 240sx meet first. I would also like to do a ALL nissan meet with you as well.

Let me think about it and I will let you know. I want to see who would come and where they would be coming from.

Thanks for all the replies ands support, I knew I can count on us 240's to get a good meet together.  

Most likely I am going to hold the meet in May on a Saturday or Sunday.  I have all the Email addresses of you guys/girls, so I will post up a date and send out Emails.  

Art you can always count on me... I willbe inFlorida from April 7-18 and will be taking the car with me to show

I'll be up there...so long as I get that weekend off... Is there a tenative date set yet?  The sooner I know, the better so I can request off of work.  Which area of the Chicago area would this be near?

I'd probably come over from Grand Rapids.  I've only met one other 240 driver in my area.  Send me an email and let me know.

It will be at the end of May.  Most likely in Niles, IL, which is the same place that I held the meet last year.

Why don't you do something in March or April? May is almost summer, really. And can you organize meets on Sundays?

The sooner the better. &nbsp;It's practically summer already, unless winter cacthes up to us in march (I'm betting it will snow two days after I take off my snow tires).

I don't see why we don't do something even if it is cold. &nbsp;So long as there isn't a bizzard I'm up for any weekend in March except the first one.

I like the idea of sooner. Chicago is much closer for me, so I would have to say that would be preferable. Milwaukee would be cool, too, though. the 2.5 hour drive would be long, so I better finish my sound system.

Where in Niles do you live liek closest major streets. I live in Morton Grove and Go to Maine East High School. What school do you go to?

I don't think Art goes to school. I don't really think that any of the owners that were at our meet last year were in high school at all.

All meets we had last year were in the Forest Preserve on Caldwell and Oakton. I believe this is where the next ones will be planned as well.

Hey guys, sorry that I havent been posting anything on this site. &nbsp;There is no email notification for this site. &nbsp;

Back to the meet thing. &nbsp;I was talking to S13Grl and was planning a earlier meet for the local, but if any of the other from out of state would like to come than that would also be fine. &nbsp;I am still waiting a little to get the date for the meet in May. &nbsp;As for the earlier meet, let see how the weather goes and we will decide as it gets alittle closer. &nbsp;I don't want to stand in the cold weather. &nbsp;I will be sending out a email to all of you about everything. &nbsp;So please be patient.
