ok.. I have an issue of turbo.. it has a 4000 hp drag racing car in it. this car has a 4 cyl and its a 4.5 ltr. it has an integra shell.. my friend is trying to tell me that a 1.8 ltr integra motor can be bored out to a 4.5 ltr
why is he this dumb? i dont understand... he never comes by my apartment just by my shop because its closer to his house. but anyway... i can't remember to bring this magizine with me... he tells me im lying but it cleary says it once of a v8 motor drag racing motor.. an arias i believe.. and it was custom done into a 4 cyl... nothing on this car is honda but he thinks its somehow a honda motor... all it is, is an integra shell on a custom drag car...
but what i was wondering was how in hell could anything be off an integra... am i right? i know nothing on this car is.. . but if you have a custom 4.5 ltr engine could you even use an integra part?

Well... if they bored a 1.8 that mcu there would be no metal left, just a giant hollow 2 cylinder square blocked POS.
But in honda's defence, about 7 years ago, chevy gave honda a V8 to work on, said that they couldn't do any better than Chevy does... honda made it more fuel efficient, and pulled an extra 300 horses out of it... honda can do great things, they just choose not too most of the time.
And that is funny... I would like to see what he can do.

Ok...that's a funny car, not a real Mustang. Not running on street gas, not running on a street engine. To this comment...I brand the fluffy dancing white thing.

like i said i can go into it if any cares...the b22b1...which is not a stock motor can be perchused from rs racing...it uses there SPECIAL stroker kit that i talk about in my bore vs stroke post to make a b18b1 a b22 with less btdc angle then stock...which is very very very good....i have seen the b24b1....and it is a sweet sweet engine...so i know of ONE b24b1 exsiting....other then that...i dont know of any1 else who gots it

thats a completely custom engine. the only thing it shares in comon with an integra is that it has 4cyl and the headlights and the honda emblems...if it even has those (gotta save weight). its like saying the aem drag civic is a civic....no its a prelude. although its pretty amazing how they can get 4000hp out of 4.5l thats almost 1000hp per liter (888.88- to be exact) so its pretty awsome. put 2 of those together and youll have something that really competes (8000hp 9L...itll win) that car is also RWD

Anyone remember seeing the artical in sports compact car where a guy put two engines in a Hyundai Tiburon. "Michael McIntyre's twin-engine Hyundai put 627 hp to the ground in our dyno competition".

Actually the engine in the drag Integra was designed as half of a big block V8 that had specs like that.

it's a drag racing engine for top fuel dragsters i believe. i've read the article. i would have posted this earlier but my friend called me just as i was typing, and he too said it was a custom block. it's not a honda engine. the article said the guy built engines for drag racing and wanted to build a similar engine except HALF the displacement.

the engine is a custom built block.....the man took a block or billit aluminum and made all the bolt holes...there r no oil or water holes = super strong..but over heat if driven it is a drag only block...!

I remember an issue of VW&Porsche that fetured an 84 Jetta TWIN engine. One in front, like normal, and one in the trunk! Two complete drivelines, hooked up to one set of peddels and shifter. The engines were built by oettinger (German tuning co.) Had something like 500 HP combined, and obviously 4wd. lol I think there were two built... would have been cool to see a production run though...
