I have steam coming from the neck of the radiator. Its a brand new sr koyo radiator. I put a 300zx twin turbo radiator cap that is 1.3 bar. It starts to steam after i drive it around for a while then letting it sit. Also my radiator is really hot on top and cold on bottom. I have a brand new thermostat and water pump. anyone know whats wrong..any info would be greatly appreciated.

did u bleed it correctly? theres a 10 mm right at the upper rad hose and the intake mani that is used for bleeding. make sure to get all the air outta that biotch bro.

Did you test the cap before you put it on? even new ones can fail. also, take the cap off and run your engine for a while, checking for bubbles in the coolant.

Well i filled the radiator with the 10mm bolt off and when it starts flowing out of the hole, i bolt it back in. I fill up the radiator and ran the car with the cap off and it bubble for a little bit and then stop. Is it suppose to overflow when i slowly rev the motor. Is there supposed to be another way to bleed it. Also what temp gauge sensor can i use on my redtop because the old one is bad. how can i check the cap.its brand new too

You can use a radiator pressure tester with a cap adapter to test it, and the bubbling you saw when your cap was off means that you did have air in the system but it should be gone if you saw the bubbling cease while your engine was idling.
P.S. dont rev your engine during a coolant flush if it is causing the coolant to slosh around your engine, because you will suffocate the majority of california when that shit hits your exaust manifold.
