I've never bought from them, but if there is one place I would place to buy an SR that I would place my absolute trust in, it would be those guys.  They are too well known and rely too much on word of mouth and respect not to take care of you.

I deal with them all the time. They are a great resource and you will get a very good engine. We also sell engines so I am not giving you a biased opinion. LOL If you are anywhere near them they are the best place to go. If you are on the West Coast I can give you some great contacts there as well. Of course if you are in the Midwest there is this place called Boost Dynamics which is very good.... <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> LOL

Heavy Throttle is a good place. &nbsp;I have not bought anything from them, but I have e-mailed them before. &nbsp; They are very prompt in answering any questions you have, and know lots about all of their products.

Unstable-Hybrids http://www.unstable-hybrids.com is another company that is very well known in the business.
Those are both on the east coast (I think). &nbsp; One in GA and one in NY (I'm pretty sure).

As oberkill said, there is a place called Boost Dynamics http://www.boostdynamics.com/ in the mid-west. &nbsp;Again, I have not bought anything from them, but I have e-mailed them, and they are a good group of people. &nbsp;Probably the only reason why they aren't as well known as some of the other guys is because they are in the mid-west.

There's a place in TN called DA Performance http://dave_240sx.tripod.com their prices are great, the best out there, but the engines really do seem to be missing a little bit more than most places. &nbsp; If you go through them, ask tons of questions about everything that comes with.

Then in CA, you have http://mckinneymotorsports.com and they are very well known on the west coast. &nbsp;I have heard nothing but good things about them, but have not dealt with them at all.

There you go, there's a company for every part of the country. &nbsp;Enjoy!

BTW, I am trying to set up a group buy for SR20DET's, and all of these companies have been contacted (except for McKinney, which I might go ahead and do). &nbsp;Let me know if you might be interested in participating in that.

I'm in Kansas city on the Kansas side. Not too far from Ill. We actually did a SR swap for someone in Illinois back in January! LOL

Anyone know of a place to buy a SR from the west coast? Shipping from the east coast to hawaii is gonna cost a arm and a leg I think.

I am up in boston so heavy throttle would be the one for me to go through. Will take me another year before I can seriously look at boosting options just because school comes first. But with some smart planning and saving I soon should have a boosted 240 not just a regular 240.

I recomend their shop to people all the time. &nbsp;Jeff and Yury are great guys to work with. &nbsp; They are more then willing to help people out.

I think "DrDubbleB" has hit on every other Sr place that I would recomend.

This is the place we had a recent posting about that claimed to have a real s15 with an RB26dett in it with 900hp. &nbsp; We discovered this to be total Bullshit. &nbsp; The picture and story was from another website that actually stated on it that it was FAKE. &nbsp; They stole the pictures and the story, and renamed the pics to fit the way they told it. &nbsp;(Same story, just changed guys name I think?) &nbsp;there was also some mudslinging done back and forth a short while back on the forum with them. &nbsp;I would be wary of doing business with them.

I promised a while ago that I'd stop saying bad things about DA Performance, so I won't mention anything about their ridiculously high prices for what they call turbo "kits". I didn't know they sell motors.
