The ride was real smooth, and not harsh at all (well you can adjust the dampener to make it harsh), The car handled really well. Its fun driving his car, takes corners like nothing. I think these are well worth the money.

Very nice indeed! Can you give more info on the Teins though? They are something I'm giving lots of thought about getting in the near future (by summer...after the engine). Have you ridden in 240's with any other coilovers? How do they compare?

um i havent riden on any other coilovers but grant has riden on worlld sports. i have riden on springs on an s13 and th coilovers were defiantly better. they gave much more feel than just springs. and for blinkor the CAE was a good investment and there is a definate difference from just the short ram intake. it pulls harder and there is more sound. and the intake pipe stays cold even if you have been driving for a long time, showing that the air going in is still cold. any other questions about the coilovers?

haha shiet, the car is slammmed.!!! clears dips and speedbumps pretty well still . the CAE is sweet, past 4000rpm the cars pulls quite a bit harder than mine

Over the stock suspension, how much faster do you think that you can take corners (on average)?
As for Grant, what coilovers do you think are best out of the ones you have had a chance to experience?

I've ridden on an s13 with World sports. The car rode very smooth as well, but I think having the option of dampenign adjustment is really nice, and also the World Sports require special pillowball mounts if you wanted to purchase them, which is quite costly.
The whole setup including the pillowball mounts for jared's car was only $1385

ok basically i can put it this way: i went from putting the car to the limit through turns(body roll) to putting th tires to the limit. so basically i can go through a turn as fast a smy tires will allow me, then i just go into a fishtail or 4 wheel slide. it is so f____ fun!! i have to get used to it actually, i still brake for turns that i can now take easily because of being used to my stock suspension. i just put it all on saturday night so im still getting the feel.

Excellent! I wasn't sure if I was going to get them or not until now. Actually, I was pretty sure, but I do want Tein to answer my e-mail about the rusting issue first. Is there anything you did to treat them for that? I have heard mixed things about it. I have heard that it's minimal, I have heard that it wrecks them, and I have heard that it doesn't even exist. Anyways, I'm going to bed, I will talk more later!

i have heard some things about that but form what i see i dont see how tehy ill rust at least in my case. they are stainless steal as seen in the pics above. so a far as i see it the only way they will rust is iff they have like salt on them for a long period of time like in areas where it snows and i live in san diego so i dont have much to worry about based on my assumptions. but i guess i will find out if anyting goes wrong. i would read though the warentee if i could read japenses since the whole thing is in straight japanese. so i guess im willing to take the risk, seems worht it so far

Yeah, as soon as I hear back from Tein, I'll post a thread with their response. Hopefully I'll be getting that back soon, I can't imagine tooo many people e-mail them everyday.
